Shipping Explained
Our shipping cost algorithms are designed to provide you with the best discounts possible. During checkout, you will see a breakup of our shipping costs as follows:
Small package shipping base: Applied to products weighing less than 70 lbs. $7 flat rate for the first product. No additional charge for up to 10 products in this weight class.
Large Package shipping base: Applied to products weighing more than 70 lbs. $19 is charged for each $70 lb item.
Shipping Rate: 50 cents/lb.
Discounts: This can range from 3-9% depending on promotions offered at the time of purchase.
Discount not listed: The above is the maximum you can expect to pay. Not reflected above is the fact the small and large items can be bundled in certain packaging scenarios. In this case, one can expect to save another $5 to $15 on the total shipping costs.
The following chart provides shipping rates for a single item. Bundled items would receive further discounts beyond what is see in the chart. Also, this chart does not take into account shipping discounts- The 3% will be automatically discounted at checkout. The chart agrees with the above equations before taking into account the additional discounts.
